The two Richard's got together to review Aston Villa's valiant effort against Manchester City where we were undone, yet again by another controversial refereeing decision.

They were also joined by the Daily Mail's football correspondent Craig Hope to discuss the current state of Newcastle under Steve Bruce's reign, and the parallels to his time with the Villa. We also preview Saturday's game against the toon army which will surely be a win for the Villa boys?

Villa Park Podcast's post COVID crisis round up

As there was no Aston Villa match to review, the two Richard's sat down to dissect the current covid situation at the club and debated whether Villa were getting special treatment!

Tributes were paid to Dean Smith and the progress he has made with the team culminating in him scooping the December manager of the month award, and they discussed the rumours surrounding Morgan Sanson and spoke about a couple of other potential transfer options.
